My background

I have been a full-time freelance translator since 2015, providing translation, proofreading and transcription services to direct clients and major agencies alike.

In 2009 I moved to Paris for my university studies, and during my four years there I discovered my love for translation and the global connections that can be built through it. I spent an extra year in Paris following my studies, during which I began translating part-time alongside other work, before moving to London in 2012 to start my MSc at University College London. The course further bolstered my passion for the profession and provided me with the skills to use various CAT tools and to master the translation of medical, scientific and technical documents. I have always been fascinated by science and medicine, so focusing on medical translation was a natural step. I then spent over a year as a medical translation project manager in the medical translation division one of the biggest agencies in the industry, and during this time I worked with major clients and coordinated many medical translation projects from quotation to delivery. I became a full-time freelance translator myself in 2015 and have never looked back!
